Avril Lavigne's new cd just came out and it has been doing very well on the charts. Avril Lavigne truly reveals her deeper side on this album, having actually written or co-written every track of it. Avril Lavigne's songs like Who Knows and Fall to Pieces are two of the more hope-inspiring tracks on an album filled with angsty, break-up music (Don't Tell Me, He Wasn't, and My Happy Ending among others). The gem of this album for me was the sad Slipped Away, Avril Lavigne's heartfelt homage to her grandfather who passed away. If you can listen to it with a dry eye, you have no heart.
