Slipknot
Slipknot has earned their "popularity" and respect (or hate) from people because of years of touring and dedication. The first major-record debut is filled with crushing guitars, intense lyrics, great editing, and some amazing drumming, which makes for a totally unique sound not heard anywhere else. I feel sorry for what the percussionists drums go through when they are on the road.
